Scholarship

1.Funding Categories

General scholar: applicable to current undergraduates or graduates.

Senior scholar: applicable to current PhD candidates or faculty members.

2.Duration

1-12months. Start to study in China no later than August 31, 2027.

3.Working Language

English or Chinese, depending on the program provided by the Jiangnan University.

4.Study/Research Fields

All disciplines other than Chinese language study.

5.Funding

Full scholarship：Tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).

6.Eligibility

1) Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.

2) Be under 45 applying for general scholars. Be under 50 applying for senior scholars.

3) Register as full-time student or employed as full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner university by the time of application and throughout the proposed stay in China. Foreign university list please refer to Appendix 1.

7. How to Apply

Applicants should submit applications at least 3 months ahead of the start of study.

1) Log in the online application system of Jiangnan University (https://jiangnan.17gz.org/) and submit your application, selecting “Short-term Program -- CSC China Link Scholarship Program”. Please refer to Appendix 2 JNU Online Application Guide.

2) Log in the CSC online application system (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) and select the Program Type B to submit application. Jiangnan University Agency Number is 10295. After submission, please send your「Full Name + CSC Serial Number +Application for China Link Scholarship」to sie@jiangnan.edu.cn. Please refer to Appendix 3 CSC Online Application Guide.

3) Jiangnan University (JNU) screens the applicant’s qualifications, and submits scholarship nomination list to CSC.

4) CSC notifies JNU of scholarship award results.

5) JNU notifies scholarship award results to applicants
