Scholarship

1.Funding Categories

General scholar: applicable to current undergraduates or graduates.

Senior scholar: applicable to current Ph.D candidates or faculties.

2.Duration

1-12months. Start to study in Chinano later than August 31, 2026.

3.Working Language

English or Chinese, depending on the program provided by theJiangnanuniversity.

4.Study/Research Fields

All disciplines other than Chinese language study.

5.Funding

Full scholarship：Tuition waiver, free on-campusaccommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthlystipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for seniorscholars).

6.Eligibility

1)Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.

2)Be under 45 applying for general scholars. Be under 50 applying for senior scholars.

3)Register as full-time student or employed as full-time academic staff at CSC’s foreign partner university by the time of application and throughout the proposed stay in China. Foreign university list please refer to Appendix 1.

4)Have obtained admission qualification from the Chinese host university for the next intake.

7. How to Apply

Applicants should submit applications at least 3 months ahead of the start of study.

1)Log in the online application system of Jiangnan University (https://jiangnan.17gz.org/) and submit your application, selecting “Short-term Program -- CSC China Link Scholarship Program”.Please refer to Appendix 2 JNU Online Application Guide.

2)Log in the CSC online application system (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) and select the Program Type B to submit application. Jiangnan University Agency Number is10295.After submitting your application on CSC application portal, please send your application serial number tosie@jiangnan.edu.cn.Please refer to Appendix 3 CSC Online Application Guide.

3)Jiangnan University (JNU) screens the applicant’s qualifications, and submitsscholarship nomination list to CSC.

4)CSC notifies scholarship admission result to JNU.

5)JNU notifies applicants of scholarship admission results.
