On the afternoon of March 22nd, the School of International Education (SIE) held the 2024 Spring Semester Meeting for International Undergraduate Students. The meeting was hosted by He Qiannan, Director of the International Student Affairs Center, and Zhang Yaoyao, Counselor for International Undergraduate Students.
Counselor Zhang Yaoyao started the meeting by leading everyone in familiarizing with the rules and regulations for the daily management of international students. He offered valuable guidance on various aspects, including daily routines, academic goals, and cultural adaptation, urging students to cherish their valuable learning opportunities, set high standards, engage in enriching experiences, and make the most of their study in China. He Qiannan, Director of the International Student Affairs Center, expressed her hope for the students to deepen their understanding of contemporary China. She encouraged students to actively share their observations, thoughts, and experiences during their study, and thereby serving as ambassadors of friendly exchanges between China and other countries.
This meeting serves as a timely measure to gain insight into the academic and daily lives of international students and foster closer relationships between students and faculty. It is conducive to the improvement of education quality for international students studying in our school.
