We are standing together to overcome difficulties as the epidemic breaks out again. Currently, the lockdown management due to the alarming COVID-19 pandemic has not only caused inconveniences to our life and study but also posed challenges to the management of and the service for international students. However, our faculty and students work side by side and voluntarily shoulder the responsibility of battling against coronavirus in this war without guns. As fighters on the frontline, faculty and students have become the most beautiful scenery during the battle against COVID-19 in a unique manner.
International students have taken the initiative to apply for volunteer work against Covid-19, speaking clearly with action that they are foreigners but not outsiders.
For example, during the COVID-19 period, KADER ALI IBRAHIM, a PhD student from Djibouti, actively participated in the volunteer work of local community and contributed to the epidemic control. His outstanding work won unanimous affirmation and acclaims from the community staff. Kader is a Chinese government scholarship winner, majoring in Control Science and Engineering. He has graduated from Jiangnan University with a master degree before pursuing doctoral study on the same campus. Thus after seven years of study, he fell in love with Wuxi, a place full of warmth and water.

We have also formed an international student aid team to better serve all international students and fight against coronavirus. The team takes charge of publishing and interpreting the latest epidemic control policies and requirements, checking the health and travel codes of international students and distributing anti-epidemic materials. It makes full use of its identity advantage to assist in the work of emotional relief, mental health check, nucleic acid test supervision, anti-epidemic APP user guidance and so on, making contribution to the safety and stability of the campus.
